What an amazingly perfect gift! We loved how it was packaged and mailed with care, and that the entire thing has a Princess Bride theme! Which is so perfect!

See, both our families love the Princess Bride film, so much so that we quote it all the time. My wife's father, who officiated at our ring ceremony for our wedding, used "As You Wish" as a wonderful motif throughout it. So it has a special place in our hearts. So your picking that as your theme was amazingly perfect! Despite our love for Princess Bride though, neither of us has had the opportunity to read the original novel, though we've mentioned wanting to do so for some time now. Well, now we know we'll be reading it soon using that absolutely GORGEOUS collector's edition you sent! And my wife has already started thumbing through the behind-the-scenes book and loves it. The board game is a perfect addition and will fit nicely within the limited space on our gaming shelves. Very excited to be yelling "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!" even more so than usual...

Also, one more surprise thank you: thank you for the wonderful card. We noticed how you sent the card and envelope, but wrote on a note instead of the card itself. Well, this actually turned out to be amazingly perfect! My wife's mother came home from the story and discovered to her dismay that the cashier forgot to put the birthday card she'd bought for our cousin into the bag. We hope you don't mind, but we immediately showed her the new card from your package and she loved it. It even matches the color scheme of the gift.
