Just what I hoped for

I received a lovely person letter with a gorgeous handwriting. It seems my gifter and I have a lot in common. First of all she’s Dutch and I’m learning Dutch since 2 years. :-) So, hartelijk dank voor jouw brief.

Then we’re about the same age, love board games and bought a calligraphy set. The nice pens stuck with us. 😆 I really liked reading the word “calligraphy”. That’s what it’s called and that’s what I call it. Unfortunately the common, but totally wrong term for it here in Germany is “Hand lettering”. Which doesn’t make sense at all.

I won’t tell you all what else she wrote, you know, postal secrecy and stuff. 😉 If there was a sender address I’d reply and response to more than what I mentioned here.

I just let you know that I could have written that letter. 😆 So of course I really enjoyed reading it.
