Please excuse the messy picture. We couldn’t contain ourselves!

I’m totally in awe of my Gifter! Family and friends have mentioned that my son is difficult to buy for, and yet my Gifter sent the perfect items to make his December birthday special! 🎂

He studied bugs this year in school, and our Gifter sent an awesome explorer’s pack so that he can keep learning! 🐞🐛 (I am especially thankful for the buggy habitats and specimen containers so that I might reclaim some of my Tupperware! LOL.) He absolutely loves the hat and flashlight (they haven’t left his head/hands since they were opened) and he can’t wait to horrify me with more creepy crawlies in Spring! 😬 PS- Where have those fancy bug-catching tongs been all of my life?! 😂

That would have been an amazing gift in itself, but our generous Gifter also included two books! One for care of his upcoming parakeet 🦜, which he immediately read and “aww’d” at the pictures, and another that I’m also excited about— Terry Pratchett’s Discworld! 🙌 Here’s to hoping he enjoys the same wit/humor that I (and apparently my Gifter and their family!) do! 😉❤️
