My gifter was very thoughtful about sending a message saying they're later than they would have wanted to ship. I don't mind waiting, but boy was this worth it!

In my preferences I told my santa that I was unsure about signing up because I'm already a bit of a pens/stationary hoarder but I just couldn't help myself! They definitely understood what I meant by that ;).

Shipping went pretty fast, it only has to hop one country over, from Germany to the NL. Yesterday there was a lovely postal service lady at the door with a medium-sized box. Unfortunately I was busy all day so I had to wait until today to open it up! The box has a bit of a dent, but it's taped up really well so I'm sure that's ok.

As I open the box I'm absolutely STUNNED at how it's filled to the brim with lovely packages!!! I immediately notice how they're wrapped in newspaper print, but with gold pen scribbles all over. It's absolutely lovely and a great way to recycle that I've never really thought about before! All the packages have cute little gold ribbons, it looks so amazing and cute <3.

I decide to take all the packages out of the box so I can take a picture of them all together. As I take out the first package, only then I discover that there's also a note. I guess I was too busy admiring the clever wrapping paper to even see it! I decide to first take everything out of the box and then look at the note. This box seems almost bottomless, SO MANY packages are coming out of it!

When finally all the packages are on the floor, I take a look at the note, it's a lovely card with a really nice pattern of flowers on the front! The message clearly shows that my gifter read my preference super closely, as it wishes me a lot of fun with my bullet journal and taking notes at dog training lectures :). Today I signed up for a new (online) lecture in a month or so, and I keep figuring out the bujo, so just from the lovely card and the overwhelming amount of packages I'm already sure this gift will come in handy!

I almost don't know where to start opening the gifts! I decide to just start with the smallest package and keep the bigger ones for later. The smallest package also has a tiny bow, and it's just TOO CUTE!!. Opening it shows me a message saying 'hello friend', and turning it over there's some kind of gazelle (?) creature who looks very cute and kind of funny. Of course this is an eraser! I told my santa I have a lot of pencils, and they correctly assumed that I actually DON'T have a lot of erasers. Whenever I'm working on something I keep losing track of where they are, but now I will keep one on my desk and one in my toolbox. I can't believe I didn't think of that before! Very helpful, santa!

Next I pick up a bigger and flatter package to open, when I tear the paper it shows a lovely lilac color. It turns out these are some greeting cards that I can use to do some hand lettering on! I'm sure I can find some lovely people to send these to with an appropriate drawing or lettering! I actually didn't even tell my santa this but I'm actually in the process of figuring out how to blockprint my own Christmas cards, I wonder if these will will work for that! First I have to do some drawing/carving though ;).

It's still really hard to choose what to open, but I decide to go for a small package that's wrapped like a paper bag with a rolled over top, just because the wrapping is so cute! Of course this, like all of the other ones, also has the lovely ribbon. I'm just dying with how cute all of this is! As I open the little paper bag I see some wood, which turns out to be a stamp! It's a stamp that has a tiny little numbered list, so I can quickly put lists EVERYWHERE! That's very cool :).

Since the smaller packages are such a success already, I decide to grab a bigger package. It feels a bit weird, like it's a bag, not pens or paper at all... Opening the wrapping paper shows that it indeed IS a bag, a bag of dog treats! The yummy dried meat strip ones! It took me a bit to realize 'ent' was the German for duck, and these are duck meat. I have bought similar treats before and they went over extremely well, so I'm sure these will be highly appreciated. Not to mention that I think it's so lovely and sweet that my santa added some dog treats <3.

Once I am suitably calmed down after squeeing over the dog treats, I pick up another package, another flat one. These turn out to be blank cards as well! But instead of lilac these are a lovely grey, in a sort of cloudy pattern. I adore them!

I picked a flat package just now, so why not go for a cylindrical package next? Turns out that's a great choice, because it's some lovely washi tape in loads of different metallic colors. That's gonna be really helpful in marking bujo pages, and making them prettier! There's so many colors I'm already thinking of how to best use them :).

For the sake of variation I decide to go for a flat package again, and it turns out to be a super cute small flip over notepad. I'm a sucker for tiny notebooks, and this one is lovely! I have no idea how I'll use it yet, but then again I already have a small stack of smaller notepads I'm not yet using so it'll definitely be among friends ;).

Next I just pick a package at random and it's fortunate pick because these are some wonderful highlighters in very cute colors. I use highlighters a lot in my bullet journal, especially in calendar to show where the weekends are. These are really pretty, so I can enjoy my monthly pages more :). And there's 4 different colors so I can keep different things apart at a glance. This is great!

At this point I'm getting almost a gift overload, it's all so amazing, and there's so much more still unopened! I decide to pick up the little cube-ish package, because why not. It's wrapped with really nice crisp corners, which is excellent! When I open it I see a lot of green, it turns out these are lovely post-its! I love to use a post-it to put on my phone case so I don't forget things when I'm out shopping. I always have my phone with me, sticking a post-it on it is a good way to keep track of things, so these will definitely come in handy! I really like the colors as well, they are bright and happy so will definitely draw my attention :).

Only 4 packages left, I decide to go for the last smallish flat package, it turns out these are tiny highlighters with a puppy on them. They're so cute! Perfect size to bring somewhere if I want to do some bujo on the train or something :).

When I open the last cylindrical package I'm puzzled by a lovely jar, that turns out to be full of little silver bits. I'm really not familiar with these, but from the label I gather they're for decoration. I'm guessing you're supposed to glue them to a page to give it some shiny? That's pretty cool! I've never heard of this, so I'll look up some tutorials before messing with it ;).

That leaves only 2 gifts. I decide to open the flatter one first. It holds a lovely notebook, with a whimsical black and white pattern on the front. It's held closed with a shiny gold elastic, this is definitely an upgrade from the boring notebook I use to take lecture notes :D. I will really enjoy using this, the cover is really stiff so it'll be very nice to use it to write on my lap in a lecture hall. If that ever happens again at least, most lectures seem online these days. But even for online lectures it'll surely be lovely to use!

The last package makes a little rattle when I pick it up, I'm keeping my fingers crossed nothing broke... But no, these are LOADS of pens. My favorite kind and favorite brand too, in a wonderful selection of colors. The rattling sound were because it's in a wonderful container with a transparent plastic top. Using the holder makes it super portable! I'm sure I'll use a lot of these colors for my bujo, these will be especially helpful to color code my calendar, although I'm sure I'll use them for hand lettering occasionally as well ;).

Santa, thank you so much, this is an amazing gift! I'll definitely get a lot of use out of everything, it's all so very thoughtful. THANK YOU <3
