I write patent applications for inventors. I have been enjoying fountain pens since the early 2000s. I like to travel. Blue Ink. Vintage pens. My favorite pen in a Lamy 2000. My favorite vintage pen is a Pelikan 400 marked "W. Gernany." I find pens marked "West Germany" fascinating as I received my first college degree the year the Berlin Wall came down. My favorite inks are Platinum Blue-Black, DeAtremenis Document Blue, Montblanc Blue-Black (vintage), Akkerman Business in Front, and KOBE 50 Legend Blue. My biggest pet peeve is inks that smear after drying. All of my nibs are EF or F because my handwriting is terrible - I never found a use for broader nibs.
I have pens and ink. But, what I am missing is paper. I use my pens daily at work on cheap copy paper (and daily planners). I don’t know much about paper and what is "good" fountain pen paper. I tend to use budget friendly and fountain pen friendly paper like Pen & Gear (Walmart) and notebooks made in Vietnam (CVS). I would appreciate anything paper or stationary related. I like spiral notebooks, writing pads, and loose leaf paper. If you have a favorite paper - I would love to hear about it. Happy Holidays!
