Oh my gosh Secret Santa! Where do I begin??? I spend 65 hours a week with my 2 grandsons, ages 7 & 9. I love them, home school them and act as stand-in parents while my daughter gets her ass kicked at an ivy league school. Needless to say I'm lucky if I get a thought to myself.

I got my package and began to feel excited. I opened the card and the curiosity began....was it an ugly Christmas sweater like the ones on the front of your card? I opened the box ...and then the tears began to well. I saw that one of the original Neopets stuffies, a blue Aisha, was gently placed amongst the beautifully wrapped gifts and it is so flippin adorable....and that silly little stuffed animal brought the hugest smile to my face.

Then I looked closer. Wow. What a kind, thoughtful and generous Secret Santa you are. There are so many gifts. I didn't know where to begin. So smallest to largest it was. My smile just kept getting wider and wider. (It kind of scared the grandkids because they are used to my drill sergeant persona haha) <---That's how they continue to live :)

You are so thoughtful, journals for the kids, a super cool Squishy skeleton for teaching......a Bad Girls book (how'd you know I am a fiercely independent strong bad ass?) cough and an beautiful ceramic mug with a bear...

And as if you hadn't already done enough I found even MORE Neopian fun. A booster deck and an expansion pack! How'd you know I have all of them except that one???? You, Santa are truly magical!

Then between the kids trying to crowd me out and the dog joining in I noticed an pencil drawing art kit...I've longingly looked at these over the years but raising the kids and the grandkids I just couldn't justify purchasing them for myself. I am super excited to start drawing again after a 35 year hiatus. Thank you.

And the candy...Mamba is yummy....the kids and I thank you.

Seriously though, I come across as a hardass on the outside, which developed after a life born into much adversity. I have always given to my family and those in need but always have had the attitude of "I don't need or want anything or anybody" and have buried my wants, needs and desires for decades until they no longer were accessible. I said I didn't care.

You dear Secret Santa touched my grinch like covered heart....that little place inside that has always been filled with love, hope and joy but that I had let life beat down....

And that was your biggest gift of all. A little blue silly stuffie....along with the feeling of being seen and heard.... Thank you for being a decent, kind and caring human. The world needs more people like you.
