Ok, I have no idea where to start... besides stating that my Santa is the most amazing person ever! I think this is my single favorite RedditGifts experience. My Santa doesn't know this, but my birthday was in July and it really felt like my birthday was extended - I feel utterly spoiled by this amazing gift. :) I have tried to include as many pics as possible because my descriptions are not going to do this gift justice!

My Santa and I exchanged some messages towards the beginning of the exchange about owls and she had some questions about a barn owl companion/familiar I mentioned one of my D&D Characters had. I told her all about my character/companion's backstory (and Santa graciously read through my novel of a response) along with answering some of her questions about my favorite fictional owls, favorite beverage, favorite colors, etc. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was excited just by the fact that my Santa was also a D&D player!

When I opened the box, I was greeted by an adorable hand crocheted owl, a card and some paper tied neatly together with some crocheted flowers (seeing a pattern here?... because I was seeing an incredibly amazing pattern at this point and was already blown away!), a neatly wrapped present and some pretty polka dot paper. I fell in love with the plush immediately and named her Artemis after my D&D familiar. She is proudly perched on my computer desk as a proud member of my ever growing desk plushies!

Next, I opened up that lovely wrapped box and was even further blown away... Inside was an awesome crocheted dice bag, owl coasters, a buttoned tea mug cozy, and a surprise mug!!!

The dice bag had owl patches on the front and back... and even had a new set of D&D dice! I've been meaning to pick up another set and it feels like my Santa read my mind! After I was done admiring my dice bag and dice set, I noticed the owl coasters!!! They're the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I've been in desperate need of coasters, so the timing on this couldn't be better!

The mug cozy is brilliant - I love the cute design and was blown away by the craftsmanship and the button back so it can easily be put on any mug! I really expected it to just be a white mug, so I was shocked to find that it had a design... which was an owlbear!!! I mentioned that one of my favorite D&D creatures was an owlbear and Santa DELIVERED ON THAT TOO! I was so giddy (and still am, honestly), it was absurd.

I really, really thought this couldn't get any more awesome, but my Santa still had more in store for me! My Santa wrote me the most lovely card, included the tragic tale of her spirit owl, Jeffrey AND two character sheets of D&D characters she's played as. I think in addition to an amazing gift, I've gained a new friend. :)

Santa, I really can't even begin to express how much this meant to me - you did an absolutely amazing job and I'm completely blown away by your kindness! I really hope we can stay in contact (and maybe even do a D&D thing together online at some point nudgenudge)!
