I'm a "curvy" guy on dating apps, or at least I was before I met my girlfriend.
I would prefer not to receive clothing as gifts, both for the difficulty and expense of getting things in my size, and a general aversion to wearing branded items.
I'm male, 35, and spend most of my time studying for IT certifications, playing TTRPGs (think Dungeons and Dragons, but not), reading, watching TV, playing with my dog, and occasionally playing video games. I'm a network engineering professional by day, and my hobbies include reading and writing fantasy, studying psychology (the real stuff, not just pop psych), hiking, and working on my nutrition and fitness - it's an uphill battle, but I've made significant progress in the past several years.
I used to love Marvel movies though the Disney+ era has been mostly miss on the "hit or miss" scale and I really dislike the DC movies. My favorite author of the moment is probably Brandon Sanderson, though I also am a big fan of J C Mcrae (Wildbow), Terry Pratchett, and Jim Butcher. Yeah, there aren't any women on the list - I'm not especially widely read since so much of my reading time has become dominated by textbooks and work material, leading me to return to long-time favorites. I'd actually really appreciate suggestions or books in the epic or urban fantasy genres by women or even anyone not on the list.
It was pointed out to me that this profile sounds like I just want books and writing material. That isn't the case so much as, I have no idea what I want. Feel free to surprise me - I love gag gifts, candy (despite the above nutrition comment), stuffed animals, toys, puzzles, books, fountain pens, cheap electronics, metal blender bottles, tools, legos, and random collectible knicknacks.
The reason I struggle to list what I would like is there are few gifts I haven't liked, with the exception of a couch cushion and a toaster as my only gifts on Christmas Day - that was lame.
Send something for the kid in me that grew up wanting to be an astronaut dinosaur rancher, not the boring professional with career prospects.
Beyond that, there's a million things I could probably say, but they're not coming to mind at the moment. So I'll end here.
