Wow, thank you Santa!

I definitely didn't expect to see these wonderful volumes when I opened up your packages. I know you got these from my Amazon wishlist, (10 out of 10 for communication btw), but I was never really expecting it to happen, as the only reason I that they were added was because when I sent you a reply with the link to my wishlist I realised that it was kinda bare, and when writing my sign up for the Anime & Manga exchange I lamented in my sign up info that, whilst I do already own a complete set of volumes for this Wonderful story, they are from the initial Viz Release.

The Initial print release from Viz is of dubious quality for a variety of reasons; not only did they flip the pages, as was common for translated manga releases in the 90s/early 00s, (manga is written and read from Right to Left), but they also removed all of the lovely colour art pages, Volumes were released in two different size books, and there is some questionable quality in the fidelity of the scanned and printed images of that release.

Not to mention that my existing collection suffers from the fact that some of the volumes I obtained are second hand (some with slight water damage) due to the fact that at the time I obtained them, they were out of print and new copies were prohibitively expensive for the budget of a teenager still at school.

These volumes are from the 2011 Re-release, printed in the correct direction, with glorious high-quality images and artwork that fix almost all of the issues with the initial release, the only one still remaining is that unfortunately while this is an amazing story that I highly recommend that people read, it is still on the long-term hiatus that it started almost 15 years ago due to the nature of story as it pertains to the end of Days and uses earthquakes as a recurring theme and motif.

All in all, whilst this is not what I was expecting from this exchange I shall definitely love diving into this story once more and enjoying it as it was meant to be.
