I'm 42 and a graphic designer living in Helsinki with my partner, no children or pets.

I like nature and especially trees and flowers. My favourity activity in summer is picking berries. I like watching birds but am not a serious hobbyist. My favorite animals are snow leopards, alpacas and hedgehogs.

I like doing all sorts of crafty things and trying out new things, though lately I've been too busy to do much. I love using natural fibres. I’m mostly into fiber arts and have done some knitting, crochet, macrame, sewing and embroidery. I’ve always done some artistic things as well but got out of the habit of being creative in my everyday life. This year I’ve rediscovered the joy of being creative outside of organized classes and I’ve really enjoyed playing with watercolors.

I like old, strange things, especially photographs and modernist architecture. There's also something about brutalism that really appeals to me, especially when combined with greenery. I like modern geometric patterns and most florals. I like old scientific illustrations, especially of plants.

I'm not a particularly skilled gardener but I love my balcony garden (even if this summer it was attacked by evil bugs and way too hot weather).

I've always loved reading but lately it's been mostly audiobooks. I like romance and some mysteries and fantasy. I also like non-fiction about strange and interesting things and people, Oliver Sacks is one of my favourites.
