Gifts all the way from Detroit

My kind gifter sent me several things related to their hometown of Detroit. I received two books by an author from Detroit, and they explained they were both made into films, and I look forward to reading them. They also sent me a large Detroit magnet, and a variety of cool stickers. Thank you, so much! I really appreciate the variety of gifts, and always enjoy learning about places I've never been to. Update: I also received a frame made of upcycled wood, which is pretty cool. Thank you, again!
