Trip to Almere 🇳🇱

My hometown gift came from Almere, the Netherlands. Everything was put together with so much care and I loved the handwritten letter describing why each item was chosen. My Santa also made an effort to support small business, which I’m very thankful for.

The gift included:

1. A locally made scrub soap, which I’m excited to start using.
2. Several food items I can’t wait to dig into. Some are guaranteed hits, such as the raspberry jam and the tompouce flavoured chocolate eggs (yes, I was secretly wishing for more). Others, like the strooopwafels cake mix and the bitterkoekjes, will be fun to try for the first time. I’ll be sharing the mustard with my father, who loves spicy condiments.
3. Last but definitely not least, my favourite part of the gift: black-eyed-Susan and Mimosa pudica seeds! These are so much better than tulip bulbs and made me squeal with joy. You see, I’ve always wanted a sensitive plant and now I can grow my own!
