I’m a costumer with a penchant for the Renaissance and a passion for Steampunk. The Renaissance Fashions book is one I’ve wanted for quite awhile but hadn’t gotten around to getting yet. The Steampunk book is full of fun, fantastical fashions to get inspiration from.
The Steampunk Simplicity pattern … y’all, I don’t know how she did it but she actually managed to get me a pattern I don’t have. I collect patterns. I have so many, I have a spreadsheet to keep from buying duplicates. This pattern is definitely going to be highly treasured in my collection!
The silk ribbon assortment is so soft! All the ribbons are so beautifully colored! They’re just perfect for the silk ribbon embroidery I’ve been dying to start doing.
The High Priestess candle also holds so much special meaning for me. The charm on it is likely to find its way onto the protection necklace I wear each day.
The Steampunk Tarot cards … this is where the waterworks start! For many Tarot readers, it’s incredibly special to be gifted a deck. I have only ever been given one other deck in my decades of Tarot reading. For a total stranger to gift me one that is themed for a passion of mine that has brought me so many friends, experiences, and joy like Steampunk has … for someone to be able to pick up on what my heart needed right now, and for the cards to be so gorgeous and uplifting to boot … I just want to cry happy tears while hugging my Secret Santa tight. I will treasure this deck always, along with everything else my Angel of a Secret Santa gifted me!
