The Christmas Pickle. I had never heard of it. You put it on your tree- and the person to find it gets a gift and is blessed with a year of good fortune! The pickle comes in a cute little bottle- that tells about the legend! It’s the perfect sized ornament. Not too big- not to small. I can see people forgetting the tradition year to year and then someone new will notice it annually. I can’t wait for my granddaughter to get older and hunt it down! What fun!
That would have been more than enough- but I also received a pair of pickle socks- to give as the gift when someone finds the pickle! They say- I am kind of a big dill. LOL.
THEN- I also received a super nice keychain- as they wanted to give me a gift- just for me. Funny thing is- people see my keys and always ask why I just have a key ring- no fob. I don’t know why- I just don’t have on. Well- this is perfect. It says Every little thing is gonna be alright. It has three birds on it (I am a birder!) and a little pink heart- because I have my first grandchild a girl! I love this for so many reasons. First- in these times I will look at that and it will be my mantra.…every little thing is gonna be alright. I need to keep saying this. Also- it will also constantly remind me of the kindness of others. Something that is really important these days.
