Lovin the local gifts!!

I am very excited to open these gifts! The box is a beautiful lady wearing a Bollenhut a local tradition from the black forest of Germany (I thought it was some kind of food she was wearing at first haha). Got a lovely tote bag from Schwarzwald showing the beauty of the vast nature in the area featuring the famous Bollenhut, this is now my go-to bag when I go grocery shopping! Also got these wonderful Schwarzwald themed socks that will accompany me on my future flights everywhere! Next up I got a wonderful travel size cutting board that I will also be bringing with me on my future travels and camping trips! I'm looking forward to cooking the Spatzle it is from my wonderful gifter hometown of Swabia where she grew up! Looking up how to cook some German lentil-stew and pairing with the pasta with some cheese sounds very very tasty! The moment I saw the can of Black Forest Gateau I went out and got some kirschwasser and some whipped cream and MMMM IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!!!!! I also got a beautiful clock mug with the famous Bollenhut, it will be a perfect addition for my morning hot chocolate for this cozy winter! Lastly, I got a beautiful advent calendar, as sweet polaroid of Santa and the local postcard from Gengenbach! One day I will visit Gengenbach and Swabia the views are too beautiful to not visit!
