Reluctant to update this post in this way, but in the spirit of trying to giving an honest reflection of my interaction, I feel that I need to:

Gifter to me sent a message along with a small package from Amazon, stating there would be a handmade gift coming. I take that at face value, and give them the benefit of the doubt. The Amazon gift was a cheap $9 set of stone shot/sake glasses.

A couple weeks back, when initially trying to wrap up loose ends, I reached out to confirm that there would be another package coming (I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it/leave it sitting on the porch during the holiday season.) They said they were busy and it would be there. Well, around a month after most packages would've been delivered, nothing has shown up.

A little bummed.
