May you reap what you sow. (love. lots of love.)

My Gloriously Generous Gardening Gifter, Lyraez, effectively blew my mind with this amazing gift. A fellow gardener, my gifter saw my Amazon wishlist and UNDERSTOOD. :) I am a bit more than a novice gardener, and I have projects that are ambitious and (hopefully) improving the ecosystem around me. I am trying my hand at permaculture, seed saving, and providing a habitat for bats, pollinators, and small wildlife. I'm also trying to build sanctuary.

So when the lawn edger/trencher showed up, I knew that my garden Santa had understood that I really didn't NEED another herb garden set, or more pots. But this? WOW. I shall now save a lot of time by being able to properly edge my garden areas, because I have a lot of paths to set, some more drip irrigation lines to trench along those paths, and so on.

As if that were not enough (!!!), another package arrived shortly after: a seed-saving book that had piqued my interest and had been mentioned by a fellow seed-nerd in my community. I have been successfully saving milkweed seeds for three years now, and have been seeing more Monarch butterflies in my garden (yay!). So saving and sharing seed has been a focus of mine.

This has been an incredible gift. After a very traumatic year, the coming spring season is beckoning me back outside, and dirt and gardening is great therapy for me as my shoulder heals after surgery. THANK YOU so much for helping me heal, both emotionally and physically. I appreciate you!!!
