First things first: this is the best and most thoughtful gift I ever received ever! Thank you so so so so much <3
Today I received a package and I knew, it has to be from the craft exchange. I was super excited already because my gifter reached out to me and asked some thoughtful questions. The box is a reused box from Hungary, which made me happy even before opening it, because my father is from Hungary. All the gifts were individually packed and a handwritten note on very pretty notepaper was on top (saying "This package does not contain Amazon orders" <3). I loved the clever packaging with reused toilet paper rolls and the music sheet paper. My heart was over the moon already.
My gifter and I both love sketching, so she got me a pack of quality graphite pencils. I told her, that I crochet, and she got me some mesh markers. Actually I never heard of those, but I immediately knew, that they will be a big help in my future projects. I love to upcycle things with a story, especially old books, so my gifter sent one with a fun front paper, which I will totally turn into something cool. Bonus: The title is "Mit silbernen Flöten" ("With silver flutes"), and I play the flute. My gifter and I both just started to get into bookbinding, so she got me some yarn in pretty colors, which I can't wait to try with the open back technique (never tried before). She turned another old book into a wonderful dice tray for my future D&D adventures. Bonus: The title is "Rebecca" by Daphne Du Maurier, which made my musical-loving heart beat even faster.
Those gifts by themselves would have been awesome on their own, but there was one more. The absolute highlight: she made an awesome personalized sketchbook for me with watercolor paper (I use watercolors a lot), colors I like and beautiful stitching of flowers and my initials on the cover. I cannot say how much I appreciate this! I will start to use it soon and will adore it any second of it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
