My charity of choice was the Internet Archive! This library is home to the Wayback Machine, a massive collection of ephermera like scanned magazines, and an even bigger digital lending library. Greedy publishers are trying to shut down the lending library, despite the fact that thousands of authors and patrons have spoken up in the Library's defense. This donation will go towards legal fees to try to save this section of the Internet Archive as well as the expensive costs of upkeeping the many, many servers and expansive hard drives used to house the Archive.
