What a nice surprise! A red bag chock full of 30 different candy and salty snacks from Japan,
The card inside says they are called Dagashi. “Dagashi are inexpensive Japanese candies that became popular after World War II. Intended for young children, dagashi candies are usually bite-sized and brightly colored. These special Japanese candies were originally sold in traditional shops called Dagashiya.”
It’s almost like I went trick or treating in Japan, thank you!
