I don't deserve this!

My Santa went absolutely above and beyond anything I even remotely thought I'd receive, and I really didn't deserve it! They paid such close attention to every little detail - every fountain pen preference (the sizes, nibs, materials, brands), all of my passions and hobbies, and even translated my style (because I know my description was of no help) from my current collection! I couldn't have asked for better gifts, and I'm so touched. I opened everything as soon as it arrived, and 2 days later I still can't believe all of this T -T

The pens are all so beautiful, and fit me perfectly. I don't have any truly vintage fountain pens (I forgot to photograph my late great uncle's Shaeffers - I don't use them because I want to preserve them, but neither of them are very old regardless), nor do I have a lot of experience with them, so this was such a treat <3 They are both glassy smooth, just like I love (AND OMG GOLD NIBS!!!), and the pocket-sized Pilot Elite is something I never knew I needed! I'm definitely going to get a fancy sleeve to store it in for protection. I've also always wanted a clicky fountain pen, and my Santa went with one of my favorite brands, a Majohn MoonMan. The color fits me perfectly too - I have a thing for earthtones, including terracottas, because they are soothing to my eyes. I've already filled it with a matching color, Colorverse's Wisdom of Trees, Methuselah Tree too! The Pilot Custom is so well balanced and refreshingly cool to the touch (but not cold or uncomfortable). I'm also addicted to the way the click the cap makes when you put it on. It's professional, yet jazzy all the way around (the pinstripes remind me of suits from the Roaring 20's, and that always brings up jazz for me, which is one of my favorite music genres).

The gardening poetry book is perfect in every way - I'm taking my time to savor the entrees ("Don't Laugh at your Lupins" is one of my faves), and what I've read so far has been everything from beautiful to entertaining to relatable! I had my sibling take most of the close-up photos because she's far better at artistic photography than I am, the one that includes the gorgeous little rose sketch is thanks to her. What an amazing find (I love second hand shopping!), and I thank you for sharing it with me!

The dice were such a surprise! I have many friends who play tabletop games, and I've been meaning for the the longest time to pick up a set and join them. Thank you for spurring me forward, and with such a fantastic set to boot (I love how weighty they are, and the coppery tones are so versatile they'll fit many themes/characters/games/etc.).

I know for you what probably seems like one of the smallest touches, the mushroom card, is for me something so huge. One of my dreams in life is to become a professional mycologist, so I'm mad about mushrooms and fungi of all sorts! It's so full of whimsy too <3

The panda tabs are so cute, and pandas have been one of my favorite animals my entire life (they were my first favorite animal when I was 5!). I don't know how you knew, but I love that you did :) And the watercolor postcards! Those are going to be so much fun to try out, especially with fountain pen ink!

My family and I are absolutely loving the tastes of New Zealand! All of the sweet treats are so delicious (my personal favorite are the TimTams - they're so light, they're almost fluffy <3 ), and I've always wanted to try the legendary yeast spreads of Australia and New Zealand, so the Marmite is much appreciated! I followed your directions to a T (I've seen Americans make the mistake of eating it right out of the jar, ha ha), and the flavor is really its own and quite tasty! There's absolutely no equivalent I can think of, and enjoy that so much. (My favorite candy of all time is something most other Americans gag at, salted black licorice, so I'm into strong, unique flavors.)

I don't even know how to begin to thank you! I really don't deserve all of this, and I apprecaite it from the bottom of my heart; I'm recovering from a minor surgery that's been more painful than I'd hoped, and your kindness really brightened my days <3

I hope your Santa showers you with as much care and generosity as you have for me!
