A generous bounty for Root!

I signed up for my puppy, Root. I noted that her fur is like none I’ve dealt with before and that I probably had the wrong grooming tools, and my Gifter, understanding first hand about Yorkies, chose for Root a new brush, some detangling spray, and some elastic hair bands. Due to the challenge of said fur, and also the fact that she can’t sit still for long, grooming her is a work in progress right now. Please excuse the scraggly photos! She’ll look much cuter again once all cleaned up.

I also mentioned that Root and her mom, Firefly, share a bed given to Firefly in a previous exchange. For this exchange, I was sent a fluffy pink bed and now they share that one, too lol. Root lying in there reminds me of strawberries and cream. When she’s actually fully in the bed anyway. As you will see in the picture, she frequently sleeps half in half out, something that she has done since she was a wee little thing. Past puppy photo tax included as proof. And one of Firefly enjoying the pink bed the right way!

Root got a new toy as well; a pink, crinkly pig. She loves it!
