What a stack!!!

I asked for this piece to my Lego 2023 gifter but, due to how slow Lego is at shipping parts, by the time matching for this exchange happened I had yet to receive the package with an unknown amount of pieces xD however, because gifting me as many as I needed would have been extremely expensive, I told my current gifter to also send whatever amount they could (and wanted to) send as I'd probably have an use for all right away.

If you wanna know more details on MILS and what I'm doing you might wanns check my previous gallery post, as that was already long enough and this post ain't gonna be short either 😅

My gifter sent me close to 1KG of pieces! 16 of them! Which will allow me to rise my Sanctum Sanctorum to 4x MILS high!(Pic.2)...just kidding xD this base is 32x32 studs and these pieces are 16x16 each which means I need to join 4 of them with 3 technic pins between each (pic.3), after this... buildings are usually easy to remove from the baseplate but this one broke into about 25 smaller sub-builds 🥶 so I kept removing pieces until I only had the sidewalk and.. this time I'm not moving the sidewalk; instead I'll be replacing it with a simple grid of light blueish gray tiles (pic.4) because dark bluish gray is the color I'll be using for my roads.

Notice the lack of studs in the new grid? Well the trees, the lamp and other urban decorations will be moved into an extension of the sidewalk (which will be part of the road/street modules connected around the building), I'll still need a stud here and there to place minifigures but, since I'm not doing that right away I went with flat tiles only.

And, after about 40mins rebuilding..I completely relocated the first floor, used the baseplate under the big pieces and attached the unchanged rest of the building on top. Now (pic.5) it can conect to my other MILS module easy and seamlessly (which is good because I'm not displaying these 2 together, as both are corner builds)

What about that alley? (Pic.6); that's an upcoming project of mine, where I plan to expand the Sanctum Sanctorum both to fill that area and so it allows for more details in the interior; pieces for that project are already on their way :D

I used 2 parts I had left from my previous gift and 2 from this one which leaves 14 more pieces to be used... precisely the amount I need for my 3 Ninjago city sets! This will be a much bigger headache though and I'm a bit ill so I'll have to leave that for another day.. but I have the pieces now! (Pic.7)

THANK YOU GIFTER!!!
