This has probably been one of my favorite gift exchanges simply because of the efforts made by my gifter to give me a curated experience through Finnish music, food, walking tours, and historical sites by sending many links that I am still working my way through. It was such a nice personal touch!
But that isn’t all! My gifter selected two books to add to my Kindle with stories focused on being in Finland. One is a holiday story that I will save for Christmas this year.
And, that is not all! I received a small cookbook with authentic, classic Finnish recipes that on first glance I am definitely wanting to try out. I also received a Kuksa wooden mug…I can’t wait to treat it and get ready for use!
I am just very thankful to have been treated so very kindly… seriously needing to book tickets to Helsinki as a gift to myself when I finish my doctoral program!
