A huge thank you to my Santa for a very special gift package!
I had said that I'd love to receive traditional crafts or items related to culture, and local foods. Santa nailed it in a most thoughtful way. A notebook from a native american tribe-owned business creating art by "inspired natives - not native inspired". It sounds like an excellent project and the notebook is beautiful. I also received a gorgeous glass ornament by another local artist, and delicious local treats - orange and cinnamon tea, smoked salmon, and chocolate cherries. I haven't tried the salmon yet but the rest has been delicious!
And to top it off, Santa took the time to write me a long letter detailing these items and a bit of connected history of the city, even a doodle in the local native art style! So thoughtful, and I really appreciate it. Thank you Santa!
