I think I won the puzzles exchange! My Santa is just the best.

Where do I start... Well, I signed up for a local puzzle exchange but was matched internationally. So I assumed my Santa was from abroad as well. Imagine my surprise when I received tracking information from a post office just down the road, and no toy shop of any kind nearby. Turns out my Santa is from my area. Something seem to have gone wrong here with matching. Not that I care, as this is so perfect!

I wrote a long preferences note about the kinds of puzzles that I love, and my Santa has managed to somehow to match all of them, which is unbelievable.

When the package just arrived I was surprised how heavy it was. Inside was a lovely card and four presents, all wrapped up in gift paper.

The smallest package contained the smallest jigsaw puzzle ever. I love jigsaws, but I simply don't have the space for them in my tiny flat. So I joked I'd love a jigsaw for which I need a magnifying glass. And I got one! The package even includes tweezers and a magnifying glass. I can't stop laughing about this fantastic jigsaw. it's perfect!

The next package contained a really heavy, cast iron take apart puzzle. And a really beautiful one it is! I can even put it on display and let guests play with it. Thanks so much for this, Santa!

Then the next present needs some explanation. It's a fantastic Parker ball pen and pencil. I wrote that I was uncertain about singing up either to Puzzles or Stationary. I love good-quality ball pens, not just for writing but for fiddling, throwing them around, twisting them around my fingers, balancing them. When I'm working I always have a ball pen in my hand. It keeps me focussed, but also it's a lot of fun; a game. And these pens are just perfect and look fantastic!

And then there are three puzzle books! One with really nasty Sudokos (woohoo!), one with nearly 200 nonograms (these are the kinds of puzzles I really enjoy on a lazy, poor weather weekend) and a third with a huge selection of logic puzzles. Wow, I think I will stay in for the coming many weekends, or go on a long vacation. This is just perfect for me.

All the gifts are absolutely perfect for me. Santa, you absolutely nailed it! Thanks a lot. You made me a very happy girl :)
