This card came all the way from Ireland! Inside was a handwritten note asking about Massacre Day. In a nutshell, I call it that because Saint Vallentine's Day was a Catholic only holiday until the Vallentine's Masacre in 1929. Companies ghoulishly capitalized on real deaths to sell cards and chocolates because "you had better let them know you care because they could be dead tommorrow!" So Vallentine's as we know it really celebrates a mafia executon, not love. It's Massacre Day.
