I am an AFOL, adult fan of LEGO. I spend most of my days building things. My favourite is GBC and making things move. The minifigures are also awesome, I like collecting those too, but not necessarily the series. I just like the stories they can make up when building something. I also like cooking and gaming. I grow chillies in the garden that I use to make condiments and hot sauce and other yummy things. I go out for short rides on my motorbike on nice days, just for som coffee or ice cream. I love the feeling it gives me and the smell of fresh manure! I am married, and we have a dog. She is getting old now, but sweet, gentle and sometimes playful and doesn't like getting wet or cold, so lucky us as we don't have to spend forever outdoors with her in winter. We both like computer games and sometimes we play PS4 or Switch as well. I love the power washing game, haha :) Favourite hero is Superman. Wolverine is pretty awesome too! As is Hellboy. Secret crush on Captain Picard since forever. Favourite games include Zelda, Super Mario, WoW, Borderlands and CoD. I've tried Rims Racing, but it is annoyingly difficult. Tiny Tina is awesome fun! Favourite food is lamb, anything with bacon and ice cream. Favourite music is metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, SoaD, Infected Mushroom) Favourite books are Skeptics' guide to the Universe and LOTR. As I can't read books anymore, I only listen to audio books and podcasts now. Favourite author is Adam Rutherford and Hannah Fry along with Steven Novella and Alice Roberts. Favourite movies include The Addams Family (1991), Fight Club, Ferris Beuller's day off, 7, and Matrix Favourite topics are neuroscience and genealogy, I like colourful socks and fun t-shirts. I would like to learn airbrushing and japanese woodjoinery, I like sushi and sake, good port and ginger ale. I have been ill for a while, so my days are relatively quiet. I don't go out much, so I like keeping myself busy with games, LEGO or small projects at home. I am always looking to learn new things or skills, even if it has little or jo practical use for me. I love nerding over things I don't know about, falling deep into internet rabbit holes looking for things to learn. Sometimes I crawl back out, sometimes I don't. My relationship with knives and sharpening them is weird, and I always get excited when it's sharpening day. I like dark roast espresso beans. I like fun coffee cups, colourful socks and fun t- shirts. Trying to learn photography, but I have a long way to go!
