Big big love to my two amazing Santas and their gang around the world who have gone above and beyond for not fulfilling the brief to provide a gift to a stranger, but made it an entire experience!

Ok so after checking I was up for the journey, I was sent a quiz and scavenger hunt to which took me all around the world looking at ships, snow, ice cream parlours, statues, volcanoes... (sorry still no idea about the beach named after an animal, it got to point that I was shotting animals native to India in and probably go lucky so I hope that's not cheating too much!) Nonetheless that was a truly unique experience and lots of fun and exertion of brain power :)

And now onto the gifts!! Wow SO incredibly spoilt!! Firstly, a moment to appreciate the wrapping, the unified approach is chefs kiss perfection and loved the glow sticks (always takes me back U18's nightclub with the UV make up and neon tutus hahahah). And it only got better opening everything up!

Very pleased to receive some new games! We had a few rounds of Uno while dinner was cooking last night and we'll have a crack at Villainous at some point this weekend. Also included a cook book (conveniently had a fish pie recipe in so already tried that that, pretty good), travel journal and a handy dandy wall planner (which I have put up behind me so you can see it on my work video calls so I look like a responsible organised adult which may or may not be the case in reality).

Next up yarn!!! Brilliant choice, I'm high-key obsessed with variegated yarn at the moment and the one you selected is not normally a tone I would go for but I actually really adore it and I think it's going to work up great. And also thank you so much for an Etsy gift card, kinda embarrassed to say I've never actually shopped on Etsy so hey my bank account does not thank you for the rabbit hole I will go down and inevitable spending I will do beyond the credit gifted. And super cute card! The subtle nods to boats/ships/sea was not lost on me, it must clearly be a passion of yours!

And even my cat got some presents! She must be be feeling very boujee with her new cat bowl and has had a great time with the new cat wand. And there were even some of her genuinely favourite treats.

Speaking of treats, there were also treats for me! I am yet to find a consistent supplier for burger biscuits near me so these were a very highly welcomed addition and I assume either a product of some stalking or a very bizarre coincidence! Either way, loving it.

And last but not least, what is quite possibly my favourite item I have every received through Reddit Gifts, a binder of their pal's recommended recipes from all around the world. I am a passionate recipe collector so this was so unbelievable perfect. The canvas on the front is so special, and the whole project brought me so much joy! I am particularly excited to try out Michelle's milk tart, the ingredients are stuff I have in the house already but I've never heard of the dish before so guess I will give it a go! I will be trying all of them however, if you would like me to keep you updated on progress let me know!
