(I've never been good at "tell us about yourself" kinds of things, and that "give us one fun fact about yourself" activity sometimes used in group settings is the bane of my existence, so my apologies that this will probably be a sloppy bio but what follows are just random facts about myself in no particular order!) Youngest child of numerous siblings; uncle to many niblings. Follower of Jesus. Language-nerd and huge bookworm; I love language from both scientific and aesthetic standpoints, which is a probably pretentious way of saying that I love not just linguistics but also just the way people talk and write. I love it all, from really refined prose to slang. I love good books, whether its good in content or in construction—like good paper and font choice and the like. But, while I appreciate good paper and good fonts I try not to be pompous about it. I read a lot of poetry but I don't feel like I "get" it, you know? Like, 98% of the time I'll read a poem and just be like "this was just a collection of words arranged in a funny order," and I wish I GOT it more; there are some poets I like but I'd love to be the kind of person who just LOVES poetry. I read a lot of both fiction and non-fiction. Gamer, both video games and board games. Forever DM, but I love DMing for my family so it's not bad. Librarian. Feminist. Queer (asexual). Coffee & tea lover, and baker. I make pretty dope Levantine baked goods and foods, like baklawa and man'ousheh and hummus and baba ghanouj. Introvert. Cat owner. Nature-lover. Since the prompt above this box says "clothing preferences" as a suggestion I guess I could say that some of my favourite t-shirts I own are from MeUndies cause they're wicked soft but also because the cut is pretty long so you can be a lanky guy like me who fits into a small without the hem being too short! Also, I really really love my family.
