Former Bi-Vocational pastor of a small rural church. I've done it! I have a job in IT and I'm loving it! I'm married to a wonderful woman, and we have two huskies. My hobbies include tinkering with electronics, 3D printing, networking, smart home, woodworking, and some gaming.

I'm slowly building out a smart home. I have plenty of the Google Minis, but still building out things with Acara door sensors, Philips Hue motion sensors, Govee lights, and the like. I use Home Assistant and Google Home. Eventually I'd like to get into some sort of presence sensing to further some automations. I have a robust Unifi based home network and a homelab.

I have a Bambu Lab X1C with an AMS. My favorite print so far is the 17" tall Optimus Prime fully articulated figure. I guess eventually I need to print a Megatron. Or maybe a Bumblebee...

I don't do as much woodworking as I'd like. :(

I like video games, but don't have the time to spend on them anymore. I grew up with the OG NES, SNES, GCube, and the like, as well as a few PS2/PS3/PS4 games. While I don't get to play games much, I like the art and things around video games as well. For example, Metroid themed art/prints/models.

Or music boxes that use melodies from the original games (there are plenty of Zelda ones out there!). Or wooden replicas of NES carts. Those things I'm starting to really dig.

The Mrs. and I like to travel when we can. We love Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We want to get out to Arizona and Cali for a visit.

I'm pretty conservative when it comes to clothing. I'm at home in a nice pair of jeans and a comfy t-shirt. I don't do a lot of things with logos, but I do have a few things sci-fi related.
