Hello, I’m Emily (she/her)! I’m 30 years old and recovering from a very recent total colectomy (they took my whole entire colon out 😅) as a result of ulcerative colitis, and I’m loving my new life with an ileostomy! I was diagnosed with ADHD last year and welcome any and all neurodivergent tips and organizational help.

I like to crochet, hike, and go down YouTube rabbit holes about cults, true crime, and MLMs in my spare time. I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal - as an adult I live next door to a funeral home (not on purpose but it is great vibes tbh, gorgeous architecture) and I’m 99% sure my cats and I have a friendly ghostie roomie. I recently purchased a refurbed iPad and Procreate and creating art has been so much fun! I’m passionate about inclusivity, travel and the outdoors, the superiority of mayonnaise over Miracle Whip, competitive swimming, beating you at Monopoly, a high quality fun fact, and (garden) tomato sandwiches. My chronic illness journey has led me to become a huge mindfulness/yoga/meditation person. I’m not much of a foodie but I always have a water bottle with me and love a cozy cup of tea - especially black teas and herbal blends. And! I’m a coffee girly now that I don’t have a colon anymore to make me regret it (iykyk 🥲)!

I have two rescued kitty cats named Blanche Devereaux (9y, short little stumpy calico/tabby situation) and Moira Rose (1.5y, gigantic 13lb black long haired tornado) who share one brain cell between them but they’re the cuddliest, softest, sweetest little buddies and they are my children. I’ve always ~loved~ giving gifts, but I suuuper struggle to receive gifts, so I’m here to practice while also getting to indulge my love of gift giving. It’s great to meet you!
