I'm a solo mom to an exuberant and joyful special needs girl who is the light of my life. We can usually be found hanging out at home in Minneapolis or finding activities around town. We like to go to festivals, concerts, theater, movies, really anything that we can find. I am "retired" aka on disability :-( so my interests currently are of the more sedate variety. And given that Katy is now 15 she'd rather do anything than hang with me, of course. I do all sorts of yarny things like knit and crochet and dabble in sewing. I also love planning and puttering around in my dahlia garden! Katy cooks like a master chef and many times she cooks wearing her Super Sentai gear. Just don't ask me which season she's wearing because I can't keep them straight. If there's a need for clothing sizes I run in a 2X and she is a woman's XL. How did she get so big?
