Well, I am a 67 year old geek, partner, mom, and grandma. In my former life I was a special education teacher. I taught special education for 18 years. I have been retired for four years and now enjoying my next journey in life. We sold our home and have moved onboard our new sailboat. I am still trying to learn how to be retired. Believe me it is hard. So what on earth do I do for fun? My wonderful SO and I go sailing and bike riding. I I love sending handwritten letters to my family and friends. I love stationary and note cards. I have a small collection of fountain pens. I love techie gadgets and always have the latest in Apple stuff. My undergrad degree was in American history. I love new and old non-fiction books about Native Americans and the Civil War. I am also interested in space science. I love building things. In a past life I owned a hobby shop, built and flew remote control airplanes. Now I fly my DJI Mavic II drone. I crochet and I am learning to read patterns. Lastly, I collect 1940s - 1960s vintage Christmas ornaments.
