Toylibrarian

I'm the director of a small, rural library in the Smoky Mountains. I am also an artist and children's book illustrator. I have completed and published one book and I am currently working on another. I love to read (duh), make art, travel and cook. I lived and worked in the country of Jordan for three years as an archaeologist and English teacher. I am passionate about bringing the love of literacy and art to children everywhere. I am the stepmother of three beautiful daughters and the Mimi of one amazing granddaughter. I'm a quirky character who loves to laugh, enjoys spooky things, vintage clothing, and I am a self-ascribed jewelry hoarder. I love to collect the art of other artists and I'm currently working on becoming a "900 Miler" - hiking all 900 miles of trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
