I'm a web developer by day. (Usually, such a sentence includes a "such-and-such by night" clause, but not this time.)

I'm a big fan of video games, especially the bigger Nintendo franchises: Zelda, Mario, etc...

I'm a huge fan of puzzles. Not jigsaw puzzles; I'm actually not a big fan of them. But anything else in the puzzle category, I'm all for. I like brain teasers, logic puzzles, riddles, physical puzzles (I have some interesting puzzle locks and boxes)... those types of things.

I also like board games of all types. (See? https://boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/TheOddLinguist?own=1) I love games with an element of mystery: be it a mystery theme, or a deduction element, or a hidden information mechanic, or even a puzzle-y feel (who'd have guessed?). I like cooperative games, worker placement, social deduction, and also low-player-count games. (I don't often get a chance to play with more than 2 or 3 players, but I have a few games that support low-to-high player counts well; that's always nice.) But as I said, I like to play pretty much anything.

OK, I've said a lot of things. I don't know if any of this is helpful, but it's certainly not necessary information. I'd be totally happy with a card and maybe a witty remark about... I don't know... hats or something. (I'm writing this rather late in the day, which is either a mistake or a stroke of genius.)
