It must have taken forever to make, and it's so adorable. I love the little bits of silver thread in his slinky and in his name, and the sweet cloud background. It's a lovely, personalized homemade gift that I will cherish. Thank you!

As if that wasn't enough, she also sent a Blu-Ray/DVD combo of all of Pixar's short films, which are definitely some of my favorite Pixar productions. Someday, I hope to be able to make something half as good as what they do here. Incredible storytelling.

On top of all of that, she sent me the definitive Pixar book - The Art of Pixar: The Complete Colorscripts and Select Art from 25 Years of Animation. I've only had a chance to flip through it briefly, but the images are incredibly beautiful and I know I'll be spending a lot of time with this book.

This has to be the one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. Thank you so much! I don't think that words can properly express how delighted I am with everything.

My gifter sent me a gift a while ago, but it must have gotten stuck in customs or lost in the mail. :(

However, being an excellent secret santa, they quickly purchased a new gift on Amazon for me, which arrived today. It's a book called "Everyday Portuguese Home-style Cooking: 50 Great Recipes", and I'm super excited to try them out!

UPDATE: Today I got an entirely repackaged box from the United States Postal Service, along with an apology letter about my parcel becoming loose in the mail. They'd actually had to cut out the address information from the original box and paste it onto an entirely new box, and explained that some things may have been lost. But it made it! I had just come back to the office from the last of a long series of very fun, but very stressful video shoots, and I actually did a little dance when I saw the postmark from Belgium
