How long have you been using fountain pens? About 7 years now, a bit longer if I count the old high school years

What do you use your fountain pens for? I journal everyday, write letters, and Postcards. I also have some specialty nibs I use to practice Chinese Calligraphy

What are you hoping to get out of this exchange? I'm hoping to either add to my collection or try out something completely new to break my out of my main mode.

What are some of your other interests (if not already described in givin.gifts profile)? I also like doing photography

Are you interested in receiving pen(s)? If so, preferred nib, material, feedback, weight, etc.? OR What are your favorite pens and what do you like about them? Sure! getting pens is always great. if a European nib I generally write in an EF, but interested in trying a European Italic or Oblique Italic. I mainly have Japanese pens as I love their aesthetic the best. For Japanese pens I generally use an F or MF nib. Definitely very interested in trying a Platinum Soft Fine (SF) 3776. As for my favorite nibs my three favorite ones right now are a Pilot #10 FA on a 912, Sailor Naginata in MF, and a Sailor Cross Concord. Recently Custom nib studio was able to make me a cursive Italic and Journaler nib which I've been loving.

Are you interested in receiving ink(s)? If so, preferred colors, desired characteristics like shading/sheen/shimmer, wet/dry, etc.? OR What are your favorite inks and why do you like them? Would love ink too! I love em all! I've never tried a shimmer ink, though I don't know what pen I'd commit JUST to using shimmer just yet. My favorite inks so far are Sailor's Manyo and Pilot's Iroshizuku line. The Manyo for all their interesting sheeting properties and Pilot is just always so well behaved and saturated. I would probably only say that I have a lot of blue inks right now so I'm good on those unless you find a really really interesting one!

Are you interested in receiving paper/notebooks? If so, preferred smoothness, paper size, ruling, weight, hardcover/softcover, binding, etc.? I'm pretty good on paper unless you find something really interesting like Chinese rice paper or Korean Mulberry paper in notebook form. I've been practicing Chinese calligraphy more seriously as of late.

Are you interested in receiving nibs and/or pen repair supplies? If so, what in particular? Would love to receive a nib. I have some TWSBIs and Kawecos that can probably easily have their nibs swapped. I'm good on pen repair supplies though

Are you interested in receiving stationery accessories, such as pen cases/rolls, notebook covers, pen-themed stickers/decals, ink swatching cards/stamps, etc.? If so, what in particular? If there's a really pretty pen case would love to receive one! stickers too! but I'm probably good on most other stationery

Some people like to include some bonus candies or sweets in the packages. Do you have any food restrictions or allergies your Santa should be aware of? That would be lovely! no allergies or issues that I know of

Please link any "state of the collection" posts or images below for your Santa so they have an idea of your tastes and to avoid repeats. (Post on your reddit user profile, or on a image host like imgur). Will post later

Anything you definitely don't want, or already have too many of? (ink colors, pen model, etc.). I have a lot of blue inks.
