Hello, my names Phillipa and I am a 34 year old Welsh female, living in Canada with my irish boyfriend, blind dog, chonky kitty and chickens.

I moved from the UK 7 years ago, looking for a change of lifestyle. I love travelling, before moving here I had lived in Australia and Ireland, and travelled Asia and Europe.

Since moving to Canada we have moved out to the country, where I spend the summer gardening vegetables.

I’m currently working as a server at an Italian restaurant, whilst I want to be rehired by my pre-covid job, where I was an air traffic control trainee (we were all laid off in 2020 due to the pandemic). On my days off I volunteer at a local animal sanctuary, caring for horses, roosters, dogs and cats.

I love the outdoors and being active, in my spare time I love hiking mountains in the Rockies, snowboarding and just generally anything that takes me out in nature.

I also love cooking fresh vegetarian meals from scratch, and going out to eat good food at restaurants.

I have a blind 7 year old rescue dog called Kevin, who is my favourite thing in the world. I also recently rescued a fat ginger kitty called Steven.

Another thing I love is houseplants, although I’m driving my partner crazy covering every surface in our house with 60+ plants! It makes me feel as though I’m closer to the outdoors when I’m stuck inside during a -40c snowstorm in the winter.
