Notetaking, journaling (TR paper/Traveler's notebook), PhD writing • What are you hoping to get out of this exchange? Hiking, painting, crafts, baking , reading-fiction • Are you interested in receiving pen(s)? If so, preferred nib, material, feedback, weight, etc.? OR What are your favorite pens and what do you like about them?Yes . I like Japanese pens- sailor, platinum, pilot capless- all medium nibs. I dislike European nibs (ie Pelikan I have tried to like them but I don’t enjoy them :( ), I like Japanese nibs or Jowo nibs with grinds (architect/naginata/Bacas blade grind) • Are you interested in receiving ink(s)? If so, preferred colors, desired characteristics like shading/sheen/shimmer, wet/dry, etc.? OR What are your favorite inks and why do you like them? Open to this yes, love shimmer (I know right), enjoy sheen, wet inks, like shading. DISLIKE black ink (unless there’s shimmer), navy or dark blue colours. Love pinks and oranges and purple, teal/turquoise, and gold/yellows. Big fan of Sailor, Diamine, Pilot Iroshizuku, Dominant Industry, Wearingeul inks ... • Are you interested in receiving paper/notebooks? If so, preferred smoothness, paper size, ruling, weight, hardcover/softcover, binding, etc.? I’m a Tomoe River (old/Sanzen) snob, I like MD cotton paper….not fussed on size….really dislike bank paper sigh, and cosmo airlight • Are you interested in receiving nibs and/or pen repair supplies? If so, what in particular? Would be open to nibs with grinds (architect/naginata/Bacas blade grind)- I like swabbing nibs out and making franken pens! I’ve got a few Jowo nibs with grinds from Mark Bacas, a few architect nibs (TWSBI) from Mark Bacas, and have swapped old Sailor 1911 nibs into a moonman • Are you interested in receiving stationery accessories, such as pen cases/rolls, notebook covers, pen-themed stickers/decals, ink swatching cards/stamps, etc.? If so, what in particular? Oh, surprise me .Not fussy…I have enough leather cases so don’t need hard cases….I enjoy softer pen cases like Rickshaw ones….don’t own a pen roll (yet), enjoy having different A5 notebook covers to swap round • Some people like to include some bonus candies or sweets in the packages. Do you have any food restrictions or allergies your Santa should be aware of?
