I am a wife and mom of two young boys ages 2 and 4. We also have a high energy 7 year old dog, who constantly needs to be walked, trained or played with. I just moved to Utah from California to be near my husbands family, and am gearing up for my first snowy winter. I really miss my family, who all still live in California. I love to be out and about with my boys, and to watch them engage with the world. We like to hike, and look for bugs in nature. I love being outdoors and active, although I tore two ligaments in my ankle 6 months ago, and getting back into physical activity has been a challenge (and I am currently considering ankle surgery). I am hoping to be able to snowboard this winter with my husband, but if not I guess I will drink hot chocolate in the lodge! We are moving into a new place soon, and we all look forward to settling in. I absolutely love knitting. I like skincare, and any sort of anxiety reducing self care. I love the smell of lavender. I love to knit and watch British crime shows, like Shetland, Vera and Broadchurch to name a few. I also love Doctor Who, David Tenant was my favorite doctor. I like to write poetry and murder mystery fiction. I am hoping for a better year this year than the last one (it was hard to be cooped up, for both myself and my boys). Although we are in Utah to be near my mother in law who has Alzheimers so it is a rough reason to move, but worth it to be there for family. I am looking forward to a better year.
