I live in the deep, dank woods, on an Island that hangs off the lower left quadrant of the province of British Columbia. This is not snowy, blisteringly cold, and bitterly wind~chilly Canada. Where I live is a soggy rainforest, full of radioactive~coloured moss, tall trees, giant ferns, heavy rainfalls, and fresh crisp air that tastes like a swampy apple. Close to the Pacific Ocean, yet surrounded by lakes and towering, Old~Ass forests, nature is a huge inspiration in my day to day life. Hence my sweeping adoration of Art Nouveau, the incredible art of Margaret and Frances Macdonald of the Glasgow School, local artists who render the magical reds of the mighty Arbutus tress and the multi-hued, richly-toned cerulean & aqua-coloured seas; these are among my highly-favoured artistic inspirations.

I love to spend my days exploring on long meandering walks through forests, jungles, mountains, valleys, as well as cities & towns near & far. Some days I spend my time making things, like art, or crafting, puttering about making creative little messes with many different media. Other days I can be discovered baking goodies, cooking baddies, thrift shopping for treasures, and caring for my houseplant jungle. Love to write colourful, decorative letters to my faraway people, whilst receiving delightful letters/treasures in the mail from friends old and new is also a favourite pastime (new penpal applications always considered!). Spending time with animals, with my family & friends, volunteering, and meeting new fun & funny people are some other things I love to do.
