Hi! I'm Lennie, long time listener first time caller. I love all things....that's it. I love all things! I'm probably working from home as a Project Manager in my mullet wear (business on top, yoga pants on the bottom) or eating a pickle with a straw. I find the best therapy in wavy arm guys (think those car lot fellas). Sometimes I'll park and turn up the music and watch them dance. Try it. I love to celebrate little wins and find the silver lining, a true motivational poster attitude. Except when I get really mad, then I'll vent over a Manhattan until I forget why I'm upset. I am a grown up, though I have the sense of humor of a 14 year old boy. It could be because I have a 14 y/o son and a 20 y/o son. They're both fantastic humans. We love family game night. I adore a good pun and belly laugh over a great one. I'm a Louisiana girl, born and raised. I know my way around a roux, even gave that name to my cat. Oh yeah, I'm a cat lady now, thanks 2020. I love her so much, but my "2019 and earlier self-proclaimed 'I hate cats'" husband loves her more. My house would be a Mad Men set if I could afford it. I love all things Mid Century Modern. Think orange velvet chairs, teak wood, starbust clocks, colored glass, Broyhill Brasilia, bar carts! If Don Draper had it or Joan Harris wore it, I love it. When I said I was a grown up, I'm not an old lady, but I do crochet and I want your granny's Pyrex dishes. I love white wine, what 40 something mom these days doesn't? I'm obsessed with our Elf on the Shelf, Meatball. Even though my kids are grown and have learned that a Fat Man doesn't magically shimmy down our chimney, our elf still visits every year. He was once a wavy arm guy - go figure! I love scented candles - pretty much any scent that smells like a bakery or something spiced. I love fuzzy socks, hot apple cider, and a roaring fire at Christmas. I enjoy a good book with good character development or a book that makes me laugh out loud. I LOVE music. All of it. Jazz, Christmas, 90s rap, you name it. My last two concerts were Lady Gaga and Straight No Chaser (acapella). I love office supplies but get anxiety using a brand new notebook. I like crafty stuff, markers and paints but detest glitter.
