Lam

Hi, I'm Lam. I'm 25 years old. My roots are from Vietnam but I grew up in Bavaria near Munich with cozy mountains and lakes. Since I finished my degree last year I moved to Frankfurt to work a bit as an App Developer because due to COVID I couldn't do a backpack travel for half a year in Asia. So I hope COVID will be over soon because what I definitely like the most is traveling, eating, meeting new people and getting to know new cultures. It gives me a sense of freedom but currently I really miss it. But that will definitely happen again.

Some facts about me: I look younger than my age tells. I have to younger siblings than me and we still fight sometimes when I visit family. My 'more than a hobby' is dancing in HipHop. I'm an Arsenal Fan (Football) but mostly like every sport. I try to learn Piano by myself. I speak German, English, vietnamese and some Spanish which I'm currently learning. I hated to learn languages that's why I forgot everything in French but since I'm traveling a lot since I'm 18 I really love to learn other cultures and languages. I don't want to be a developer which sits in front of their laptops the whole day like now haha but I love to play with mobile phones. I rarely game but I bought a Switch which is pretty cool. I like to do handcraft work which a result. I'm the guy who's never at home and always needs to be outside. I try to be effective most of the time and hate it when people linger. I like HipHop and R&B music and also some K-R&B. My favourite movie is Spirited away which soundtrack I also learn on piano right now. And last fact because I thought about it today. I feel more comfortable alone but that doesn't mean I never want to hang out with other people haha :)

So why do I want to participate on this exchange? I followed the Santa Secrets Event the last years but missed the deadline because it always came to my mind way too late. So this year I'm right on time but they don't allow any new users to register anymore so I searched for an alternative and that's how I found Givin Gifts. I really would love to experience the same feeling as the other users. Their posts about giving something completely random who you have never met before is really something unique and that's why I want to try it this year too :)
