ABOUT ME… I am a single mama, the head of a proud foster family. All of my children are special needs. In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting , daydreaming, and making lists.

MY KIDS... Mr W is ASD, high functioning, with anxiety. He loves snacks, anything to do with firefighting (he is a volunteer firefighter), gaming magazines, and wears a men's M in shirts.

Mr T is ASD, low functioning, with FASD, and PTSD. He loves bugs of all kinds, monster trucks, cookies, and wears a size 10 in clothes.

Miss K has cerebral palsy, non-verbal, and hearing loss. She loves dolls, musical toys, chunky books, chunky cars, and wears a size 2/3 in clothes.

THINGS I LOVE...Christmas (candy canes, nutcrackers, and gingerbread are my favourite themes)…Daphne's Diary magazine…Yankee candles…Lush shower gels…Pink in any shade…Scrapbooking paper, ephemera, and embellishments (Bella Carta, Paige Evans, Stamperia, Echo Park, Tim Holtz are my faves)...Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix…Starbucks mugs and travel tumblers…Crocheted granny squares. I can't crochet but hope to have enough squares to piece a quilt for my bed one day… Cotton FQs, any colour/pattern…Candy, chocolate, cookies…Disney’s Sleeping Beauty (OG version)…Stickers, especially Pipsticks as we can't get those locally…Disney Minnie and Mickey mouse…Bees…Squirrels…I love paper crafting (journals, flipbooks, junk journals, pocket letters) so journalling cards, tags, vintage ephemera is always appreciated.

I am currently planning my 50th celebration (2030), and have decided on an epic family holiday. We will be visiting Scotland, Paris (again), Japan, Singapore (again), London (again), Hong Kong, and Canada. I am also hoping to travel to Hawaii, Alaska, WDW and Disneyland, providing it is safe enough to do so. Any tidbits, insider tips, or touristy recommendations and brochures about any of these places would be great! Tell me where you recommend we stay or eat or visit.
