In 2016 I married an amazing man and began life again. We have six boys between us, along with their wives/significant others and nine grandchildren. We got married at our favorite bookstore, Literati, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I worked as an educational consultant, supporting teachers in science instruction, until 2021 when I went on medical leave. The past few years have been spent navigating life with chronic illness (POTS, MCAS, smoldering multiple myeloma...). On good days, I hang out with the grandbabies, take photos (Canon through and through), bake and decorate cookies or try a new recipe, wander through bookstores or the library, write or journal, read, watch old 80s movies or 90s shows, replay Christmas movies, or search for the softest socks or funniest T-shirt.
