I’m a baker, artist, custodian, step-mom to a 11 year old boy, dog mom to a puppy yellow lab Emma, partner to a wonderful man, freshly minted first time home owner, 35/F, living in the Adirondacks. I worked in the kitchen industry for 13 years and finally managed to escape and now I’m a custodian with the USPS, it’s amazing, I love it. Now I have time and energy to get back into art and food experiments. I love trying new weird snacks, like cucumber chips and Ube paste.
I’ve recently gotten into Penpaling, I love writing letters and the long form format communication. I love the act of putting a letter together with some stickers and other cute things. I love including something I’ve drawn. I’ve recently started making my own recycled paper to make my own stationary.
I went to college for costume design, photography, and fine art in general…. Got seriously depressed and failed out in 2009 and started working in kitchens. I stopped working in kitchens in 2017 and have slowly started getting back into drawing and painting. I feel like a beginner again, you really do lose it if you don’t use it.
