I live in Florida with my husband and 2 little dogs. I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and go back to visit family at least every 6 months, but even after living in Florida for 10 years, I still get homesick sometimes.
My dogs are pretty much my everything. We have Charles Dogwin “Charlie” who is a 15 year old papillon. And Isaac Pig Newton “Newt” who is a 5 year old chihuahua terrier (terror!) mix of some sort. Newt is my Velcro dog and is always attached to me, while I usually have to harass cuddles out of Charlie lol.
I work in a spa and salon as an esthetician and massage therapist, so my hair is usually all sorts of fun colors and styles. I love working in the quiet and dark because I suffer from migraines. Just the darker rooms make a world of difference.
I’m getting all of my ducks in a row to hopefully open my own one room spa within the next couple of years. So I spend a lot of time planning things and working extra hours to save towards that (or pay existing debt).
I run a LOT. At least it feels like it lol. I enjoy half marathons and don’t mind too much training for them. I’m not fast by any means, but I still just love being outside. I got a kayak not too long ago and I’m really enjoying just going out and cruising around, exploring.
Throughout all of the things that I do, I’m usually listening to a book on audible. I have a thing for zombie books or other post apocalyptic science fiction. I’ll have to update this later to include favorite authors and such.
Colors: Purples, greens, teal. Not particularly together lol.
I’ve recent discovered squishmallows and I’m totally in love with them :)
