I'm a 41yo stay at home, homeschooling mom with 5 kids ages 22, 18, 17, and 11yo twins, one of whom is my only girl. I'm a lifelong Christian and hold a conservative and Biblical worldview, but I don't throw rocks at those who don't. I've been married for 20 years to a professional baker who currently works as the produce manager in our local grocery store. We live in rural central Texas, "in town" on a half acre corner lot. We have cats and dogs and whatever else my daughter rescues.
I'm a scrapbooker and crafter and a bullet journaler. I'm very into crafts and DIY; some of my faves right now are diamond painting AKA diamond art, learning to paint mostly with watercolors, learning to draw, improving handwriting and hand lettering and calligraphy, coloring, word puzzle books, and anything to make decor for my home themes listed below. I do some beginner crochet, embroidery, sewing, cross-stitch. I'm a night owl and super chatty! ENFP in a house full of introverts. I'm just getting into having pen pals and would love supplies for that! I have fibromyalgia so I have bouts of bad health where it's hard to get out of bed, but I've done well this year! I'm still learning to eat properly and listen to my body. I'm diabetic too and lactose intolerant with IBD, so with my special eating needs anything food-related on my wish list is very appreciated! I'm a sometimes reader and musician, and a licensed massage therapist.
We are trying to buy our house! Purple, grey, and a bit of green in the living room with grapes and wine theme plus lavender. Kitchen is green and red with apples theme, very country. I like classic primary red, yellow, and blue for our school stuff, one room schoolhouse or apples are fun themes. Bedroom is blue and gold, French country, pears. Shared bathroom is blue and yellow, lemons. Master bathroom is beachy and peachy.
I'm a home body but an extrovert. I don't get out a lot because of health, but my brain is always going and I have a million things I want to get done if my body would only let me. I spend a lot of time on social media and on the internet in general. Any activity I can do from my bed or the couch is great; things to help me be and stay and feel productive even when it hurts to move my body are the best kinds of gifts. Anything to make home keeping easier is also great! Organization tools are fun!
I enjoy games, both video games and table top games of any sort. Anything that helps me to nourish the relationships with my family is great. I'm not super picky and I love interacting and exchanging, so let's have some fun together! Thank you for being kind and generous!
