I am a professor and architect who loves photography, metal, sci-fi and fantasy. I love science humor, XKCD, SMBC that sort of thing. I am a strong liberal who nonetheless loves sharp pointy objects, (swords and knives) I'm very interested in social science and history as well. When it comes to metal, my tastes generally run to symphonic metal. I go hiking all the time and love to travel. On the "I refuse to grow up" side, I still love Lego, although that may be a side effect of my profession.

I generally wear architecture themed t-shirts, or really funny ones, especially with a dark sense of humor. My camera is a Nikon 7200. I collect minerals, knives and swords, books and poisonous plants. I basically live in a (rather scary) museum.
